What a remarkable week. I am having a hard time sailing away from each
of these cities as one proves to be more beautiful than the next. Here
is just a sampling of the hundreds of pictures I have taken from Malaga,
Lisbon, and Bordeaux. I must say the best part about working on a
cruise ship is that you go to sleep in one country and wake up in
another without having to do any work trying to get there. The bad part
is that you never want to leave each country but you have to follow your
bed! Europe has already blown my mind.
Malaga, Spain.
Malaga, Spain.
Bull fighting arena |
Just hangin out on a fort. Literally hangin out. |
Palaces everywhere |
Ya know....Just a simple church |
I like photo shoots in front of pretty palace doors |
Had to catch up on the local Malagan news |
Lisbon, Portugal.
Tiles are the style in Lisbon |
A fortress with a view |
This is what all the houses look like...it's like stepping back in time seeing the bright laundry hanging outside |
I am an explorer with the explorers |
Here you can get a better idea of how big this monument is |
The main square was so bright and colorful |
This was an art installation where they put post-it's on a billboard. Was it oppression? Expression? Regression? Don't know but it was cool. |
Sail away was a combination of Rio and San Fransisco. |
St Emillion, France.
Start of our adventure...we made it to the train station! |
Then to the beautiful Saint Emilion! |
We ate lunch in this square |
Petit dejeuner-crepe with pears, vanilla ice cream, almonds and whipped creme. Assortment of cheeses and baguette. Who could ask for anything more? |
I belong IN wine country. Like...IN IT. |
So happy to have made it to the Chateau Soutard |
Don't forget to stop and smell the roses...in chateaus. |
Our petite wine tasting! |
I heart wine. |
Just wildflowers everywhere... |
Bordeaux, France.
