A B O U T

Hello friends! My name is Adriana and I first started this blog to...
 remember everything.
You were expecting more than that weren't you?  No really, that's it.  Don't you feel like life is going at lightning speed??  Slow down life!  Please!!  Everything was going by in a wild blur, so my blog became one little place to do some journalistic sharing, and post more than just a status about a turkey sandwich.  Even though don't get me wrong, we all know I love a good food post.

So that's what it was at first, but as time went on, I realized the potential of what a little bloggy could give.
I have never been any sort of self proclaimed guru nor am I now, but I decided that I wanted to share with some kind of intention. "But what is my intention?" I asked myself.  Myself did not reply. I asked my husband. The first word he said was light. Wait! He's onto something! I do try very hard to see the light in everything. Could this be it's purpose I asked myself? I mean, the theory may not always work, but if I share with a giving intention to lean in that direction, surely we can all gain from the experience? I guess I had a "light"bulb moment. (yes that had to be done)

Lean to Light

The concept of Lean to Light is this.  In a world of career demands, family commitments, birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, keeping up with diet fads, fashion trends, what's in, what's out, planning meals three times a day, texts, twitter, re-tweets, hashtags, instagrams, status updates, like, like, like, and wait who is that tugging on my pant leg when I just want to take a sensible shower!?!?

Lean to Light

In the middle of that mayhem, do a little something that is good, a little action that helps you or someone else, a little movement that might shed a few pounds, a little local store you choose to support instead of that chain around the corner, a little mini vacation that fits neatly in your budget, a little swap of grocery or beauty products to improve your health, a little, you got it...

Lean to Light

Yes I am a Jill of many trades master of some, an actress, singer who moves well, photographer, make-up artist, possibly an accidental gluten free pescetarian, but what I promise to do in the middle of all of that craziness is
Lean to Light...
and blog about it.

Welcome!
