Italian cuisine-Eataly-Verdure-Manzo...and a touch of Sienna

I have come upon the bestest latest greatest market in NYC.

Recommended by my Mama MoLo, and sampled by myself and some fine ladies who lunch where we dined at

and taken to an even finer extreme by another lovely friend to

Made me have flashbacks to my wonderful times in Italy. I didn't have much time to post pics then so I went through my pictures from Sienna and they were so beautiful they brought tears to my eyes. There are some places on this earth that I can't believe are real. I mean people live here. All the time. Ahhh...someday I will return I will...
The appetizer on the right is raw Italian mushrooms, with arugula, basil, lemon, freshly sliced Parmesan and truffle oil.
Note the size of the prosciutto on this pizza. The Italians do not hold back.

La Cinque Terre Italia

Welllllllll...the perfection continues. I'm sorry for the profuse travel bragging but if it make you feel better I am exhausted and can't feel my body from all the walking, hiking and more walking.
But I love the pain. ;)
La Cinque Terre was one of the most beautiful places I have ever been in my life. Cliffs that jut out of the water like the Hawaiian coastline but dotted with colorful little towns with the most delicious Italian food. I EVEN ATE TOMATOES. Lemon trees, grape fields...and honeysuckle trees. Our hotel was in La Spezia and was a bed and breakfast on a mountain overlooking the ocean and bay. We ended our trip driving though Austria and Germany and stopped in the beautiful Innsbruck. Our trip ended with a stunning sunset, double rainbows and hearty German meal.
Someone pinch me. No, actually don't...I like living in this dream.
