Adriana Lomysh Campbell Photography?

Jason is definitely the photographer Campbell, but I did a really quick photo shoot of the amazing Kent dancers the other night after our show. As you can see, they are quite the easy subjects to photograph so my job was a piece of cake. But considering I had a basic camera and we took pictures for only about 30minutes or so, I was really happy with the publicity shot we chose in the end.

Better than Broadway?

So there are definitely days where every actor wants more from their career. I'm not going to lie, I may have had a few of those days lately. Yes, I would love to book Broadway shows, production contracts, prime-time series and national commercials all the time, but I think I'm really at peace with where I am at right now. Why? In rehearsal yesterday while I looked over my music and the girls were working on "America" from West Side Story...
I had THIS view to keep me company:
...and it made me feel A LOT better.

"Toystory" formal night

My girlfriend left me some of her dresses to store and told me I could borrow them to wear on formal nights if I wanted. I said, "no no, I'll just store them for you"...but upon further glance, I just had to make an exception for a couple of them. Just had to. ;) The nights I wore her dresses I got so many compliments I am starting to question my own taste.

Anyways, this dress did make me feel great and fit perfectly, but what I like most about this picture is the little blurry image in the crook of my arm. That's my bunny Izzy that yes, I have had since I was eight and yes, I still sleep with, and yes has traveled the world with me, and yes this confession is embarrassing, but she is my little "Toystory" stuffed animal that (when I was little) I was convinced was half alive.  When I was little!!!  I wanted to have something of Baba's and so I took a piece of Baba's babushka and put it on her head. Baba always loved when I would go shopping, get all dressed up, and show off beautiful clothes and purchases for her. I think it's funny that it just kinda looks like she's checking out my outfit in the background. I may be the only one who finds this amusing, but now it's on the blog so it's more than just my own amusement. And I really like the dress. Sorry Camilla, you might not be getting this one back.  ;)

The #1 reason I love cruising...

is that I go to sleep leaving here:
(Beautiful lightning storm in Maui)

And I wake up a week later here:
(Mendenhall Glacier in Juneau, Alaska)
I didn't sleep a week. You get what I'm saying yes? ;)

Saw the first of many of these:
(Humpback whale going for a dinner dive)
I am so excited to get to know Alaska better! It is so spectacular.

Happy Mothers Day to mothers, and daughters who take care of them

My Mama and Baba waaay before they were a mama and a baba:
Isn't my mom so cute?! I hope if I have a daughter she looks like her! I absolutely adore this picture and thought it was most appropriate on this day that celebrates them.
I think being a mother is one of the most selfless acts on the planet. Not only do you tend to the needs of a little human for 18years and beyond, but you give up your body for the sake of it's existence.  I talked a lot about Baba last month but I realized that through those blogs I never mentioned one very important thing. My mother took care of Baba every day for the last ten years of her life and if it wasn't for her care there is no way she would have been able to stay in her home and in her bed until the very end. This sacrifice was so admirable and unique in our society now. So what I am trying to say is that she was a very selfless daughter as well as selfless mother. I think this selflessness is my mom's very best quality and I don't know if I could ever match her astounding ability to put others before her but I will try my best.
MoLo, MamaMo, Motrianna, and my Ridna Mati Moya...
Happy Mothers Day!

High on Hawaii!!!!

Still wish I was here with the hubs too, but had a great time with my BFF's in glorious Hawaii! We had an action packed day at the Dole Plantation, lunch and beach on the North Shore, a stunning drive around the island, a little shopping at Ala Moana mall and dinner back at Waikiki Beach. We had a COMPLETELY INSANE trip getting back to the ship that involved getting lost, ending up on a military base, asking a random man to get in the car with us, abandoning a car and almost missing the ship. Let's just say it was a day and night to remember.

In like a lion out like a lamb

I know they say March is in like a lion out like a lamb but for me it was April. It began with the sadness of saying goodbye to a beautiful woman and ended on top of a canyon in Hawaii. Here are just a few, um two dozen, sample pictures, and when I have more time I will try to post more. The past few days have really made me realize how amazing my job and my life is.  Thank you Baba for giving me so much strength peace, prosperity, and perspective this month!
Just hangin with the girls on an active volcano...no worries
That volcano is smokin!!!
still smokin
My girl Stephanie and I posing with another volcano canyon
Yours truly and the spa team entering a lava tunnel
What will happen if I move?
See how there is nothing around us? That's what we saw. NOTHING!!!
Wailua Falls, Kauai
The lovely Patricia and I chillin by the falls...
...and yet ANOTHER stunning canyon
Happy stance!
Happy stance take...?
Yoga poses done on volcanic rock are spiritual
This picture and the following are all so reminiscent of when Jason and I first met TEN years ago. We used to go to this resort and beach and I have the most wonderful memories here. I missed him very much here today...It was so bizarre to be back in our old Hawaiian stomping ground without him!

Sunset sailaway back onboard...
Goodnight from the Symphony!
